International Project "Photo Fences" in Russia - APPLY
Hello everyone,
I am involved in organising the photography summer project PHOTO FENCES for young people which will take place in Russia, a small town Nerehta in August 1-14, 2013. The project is based on team work for the transformation the town and its surfaces within photography.
The participants will be selected based on the application form (online) and their portfolio.
There will be only 10 participants selected.
The participants will need to pay for their way to Nerehta and Russian visa if needed.
We will be helping with tickets and visa for the selected participants.

Magnum Opportunities for young photographers

This weekend event provides photographers with a better understanding of the business of photography, and gives networking opportunities to key industry decision makers from editorial, publishing, advertising, NGO, exhibition and stock sectors.

11th Roberto Villagraz scholarship of Photography
EFTI School of Photography and Image Centre announces its 11th Roberto Villagraz scholarship of Photography, aiming to award three photographers with a scholarship that will enable them to develop their professional career through the study of EFTI International Master of Photography .The cost of the course for this edition [2013-14] is 8.690 €.
Each of the awarded students will receive a monetary prize of 1,200€ as well.

FRESH FACED AND WILD EYED - FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY
The sixth edition of the annual exhibition FreshFaced+WildEyed will once again present the talent and diversity of photographic practice emerging from BA and MA courses across the UK. Following an online application process this year’s panel of judges, Eileen Perrier, Zoe Pilger, Niru Ratnam and Brett Rogers, will select outstanding work for the exhibition and online gallery. For the first time works will not only be showcased on the floors of the gallery but also on The Wall, our permanent exhibition space for digital screen-based media.

The Vienna International Photo Awards, or VIPA for short, mission is to draw more attention to documentary photography in Austria and worldwide. Ever since we have established the first edition, VIPA has become one of the leading documentary photography contests. We wanted VIPA to be different as we focus on a niche between press and art photography that is often lost sight of.
